T- Mobile US and Sprint Corp are nearing an agreement on new merger terms and the final deal could be announced as soon as Thursday, the Wall Street Journal reported citing people familiar with the matter.

Deutsche Telekom AG , T-Mobile's parent, will own 43per cent of the combined company, up from just below 42per cent earlier, the report added. T- Mobile US did not immediately respond to a Reuters request for comment, while Sprint declined to comment.
