In other countries preferential treatment are given to marginalized communities. In MY country, certain quarters of the dominant race are expecting more privileges than the others. What does that say about their mentality?

At least a group dominated by nonMalays know that they cant take Malaysia for themselves because they don't have the numbers and support but at the same time they can stop fighting each other and focus on the country and hire what they need.
But would the govt recruit experts or people of their pleasure?
