Due to the coronavirus outbreak, big companies have been struggling with their global conferences and many have been forced to cancel.

Salesforce marketing Vice President Renata Bertram says the company has been “monitoring the coronavirus outbreak very closely for the last few months” and took precautions to look after “health and safety of our stakeholders very seriously”.

Ms Bertram told Sky News “after careful consideration and reflection of our values, we made the decision to change our in-person event to an online experience” whereby the company had reimagined the whole idea of a physical conference. “The people that tuned into Salesforce Live were able to access over 100 quality sessions of deep content which were recorded on demand and or live streamed on the day,” she said.
