Contractors may not claim damages incurred as a result of the movement control order from the government.

The construction industry should halt all construction and maintenance works which are not critical, said the Public Works Department in a FAQ released today.

This is in light of the movement control order that came into effect from today until March 31 in a bid to curb the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic.
