Pahang restricts hours of business

Pahang Menteri Besar Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail says businesses in Kuantan, Pekan, Jerantut, Bentong and Temerloh will have to close from 7pm to 7am due to the spread of Covid-19, effective Saturday until further notice. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, March 19, 2020.

From Saturday, businesses in five Pahang districts have to close from 7pm to 7am daily, as the state ramps up its fight against the spread of Covid-19. Pahang Menteri Besar Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail said the affected districts are Kuantan, Pekan, Jerantut, Bentong and Temerloh, where cases had been reported.
