CDNTopStories: The Cebu City government will not be issuing any permits while the city is under general community quarantine for the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19).

In a memorandum, Mayor Edgardo Labella, ordered the Business Processing and Licensing Office to temporarily suspend the processing of applications for permits and licenses until April 14, 2020 or the lifting of the State of General Community Quarantine in the city. “You are directed to focus on inspection for compliance of establishments to the various Executive Orders issued in relation to the safety and precautionary measures against COVID-19.Recently, the city has closed down malls, recreational spaces, bars, fitness centers, gambling places, spas, internet cafes, sports centers, and video karaoke houses.

Pharmacies will be allowed to operate beyond the curfew because they sell medical commodities needed to combat the COVID-19.
