The district council presented about 550 reusable bags to market-goers in conjunction with its “No Non-Degradable Plastic Bag Day” campaign.

Mohamad Razif said some 99,624 people visited the Pusing and Batu Gajah markets since March 22 and most adhered to the MCO. “We appreciate the cooperation by the people in adapting to the new norm towards an effective culture. They have 10 minutes to get what they need and leave the market.
