Twitch announced Wednesday evening that it is investigating some of the more extreme accusations and permanently banning streamers depending on its findings.More than 100 people in the gaming industry, most of them women, have publicly alleged they were sexually assaulted, harassed or discriminated against on the basis of their gender by fellow gamers. Many posted longform accounts using the platforms TwitLonger or Medium to explain events that may have occurred years ago.

This has been going on for years since the early 2000s. My daughter and sons would even go to tournaments, and we had to stand bodyguard because of the language and anger if she was winning. Other girls were in tears with the male anger and dominance.
The nice thing about multi-player computer games is if somebody is giving you a hard time you can usually shoot them in the head or chop them into little pieces with a buffed up battle axe without breaking any laws.
