The investment is good, though the saving of £1.67/month on bills isn't a newsworthy element, even for a penny pincher like me...

It costs £25billion and £20 will be given to each of the 22million households in the uk ie £44 million. So what’s happening to the remaining £24.999 billion and why couldn’t each household receive £100 or £1,000, or better yet a heat pump to replace their gas boiler?

That’s strange, because all those green wankers have ever done is put money on bills..
