Opinion | Christopher Boulton: Corporate ads said Black Lives Matter. But the industry creating them is nearly all white. - NBCNewsTHINK

First, white nepotism runs rampant: At the agencies I studied, all 24 of the interns referred to as"must-hires" were white. In most cases, must-hires are a well-kept but open secret at an organization; their connections are subject to an implicit don't ask, don't tell policy.

Second, the qualifications for entry-level positions in advertising can be loose and subjective; it comes down to whether a candidate feels like a"culture fit" rather than objective skills or experiences. As one human resources manager told me, the interview process for such positions feels more like rushing for a fraternity or sorority than interviewing for a firmly conceived job.

THINK THE NAME SAYS ALL U NEED TO KNOW THINK NBC BLM

THINK How dare white people own businesses.

THINK You can’t get enough chains to be the king of bougiestan working a real job. Black America has different priorities and that’s the root cause of 80% of its problems. Facts.

THINK WHO GIVES A DAMN... IT’S A MARXIST GROUP OF CRIMINALS GETTING RICH OFF THIS...

THINK In Chicago, very few whites work for the Post Office OR the CTA. Both mail service and transportation are steadily declining.

THINK Well whites make up 70% or so of the population so that just makes sense.

THINK Is that a bad thing it sounds like the company is trying to help get the message out to help. Dont make it out like they are part of the problem if they are helping spread the word dont criticize them because they have more whites then blacks they are still helping and thats good

THINK We shall go on to the end (of Marxism). We shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender.

THINK Divide. Divide. Divide. MSMAgenda

THINK Are they rejecting black creatives? Did a Black Agency submit work and it got rejected? Who is making the decisions? Are Black communications professionals being pushed out? Please share a complete story. We cannot address unless we know what is going on.

THINK Can the left just eat itself now and get it over with.

THINK Really? American demographics: European-American: 65% African-American:13% Why on earth would there be more people of European descent working there versus African?

THINK ...shows that OTHER colour (ALL) humans care, and it’s not only ABLM !

THINK NEVER👏CAVE👏TO👏THE👏MOB

THINK Isn't that the point though? 'Black Lives Matter' has to matter to people who aren't black. That's how progress is made. If black owned companies were saying 'Black Lives Matter' they would obviously know they matter. White owned businesses endorsing the message is progress.

THINK Which is why I'm a republican. I don't give a rat's monkey's butt what color you are. Period.

THINK Because it's Marxism in disguise

THINK

THINK GodBlessAmerica

THINK BLM

THINK Remember when I called that too?

GMMB insiders say the top progressive ad and PR agency has a problem with microaggressions - Business InsiderBusiness Insider is a fast-growing business site with deep financial, media, tech, and other industry verticals. Launched in 2007, the site is now the largest business news site on the web. This is your 6th article on this one agency, why not start focusing on the industry as a whole? Why not start highlighting the work that agencies like this and others are doing to make a changes? There is nothing new here, start focusing on the entire industry! Your reporter seems to have an axe to grind with this one agency for some reason. I cant believe he wrote 6 articles on the same place with basically the same info. Why not actually report on the industry wide problem. Clickbait much
