If you're smarter than a 5th grader, you wouldn't move to TExas. You would move all your money to an offshore account, establish headquarters in a strong currency country, and then use Asian labor and sell it to America for a higher price. Cheaper taxes/moving is old fashion.

keep your potable water weird, austin

It’s not in Austin. It’s east of Austin. They are not within city limits. Please correct this error.

I'm glad Tesla is coming to Texas, but I heard the other location being considered was Tulsa, OK. You have to admit 'Tesla Tulsa' has a nice ring to it! 😁

Why didn’t they pick california, the liberal utopia?

“Travis County and a local school district's deal for more than $65 million in tax rebates over 10 years won over the electric-car maker.” A LOCAL SCHOOL DISTRICT. Where do y’all think Texas lawmakers will make those cuts now that they’ve drained their budget?

oh it’s lit

Texas has more truck owners than any other state in the nation. It's about the optics and the taxes.

More liberals to texas😅

Is this where my Cybertruck will be built? 💰😎😁

well lookie there GavinNewsom tesla

Elon will need to make a king ranch glammed up 100k edition for the high rollers to make the cherry on top.

Would like to see how many millions of public money did the state and city throw at this millionaire to sponsor the location. Let's see the contract.

I’m moving to Austin

Hipster capital of the USA
