Yum Brands reported that its quarterly revenue rose 8% in the third quarter, fueled by Taco Bell's return to positive same-store sales growth.

"Beneath the surface, there is lot of work going on with the Taco Bell team to pivot the business in this environment and meet consumers' new needs wherever they need them," Yum Brands CEO David Gibbs told CNBC's Jim Cramer Thursday.
