First-term Democratic Rep. Susie Lee is projected to defeat Republican challenger Dan Rodimer and win Nevada's 3rd Congressional District, thisisinsider reports via DecisionDeskHQ.

In 2018, Rodimer ran for Nevada's State Senate in the state's 8th District but lost in the Republican primary to Valerie Weber.Nevada's 3rd Congressional District is the state's southernmost district. The district is located directly south of Las Vegas and contains the cities of Henderson, Summerlin South, Boulder City, Searchlight, Laughlin, and parts of unincorporated Clark County.

The district is one of 30 in the United States that voted for President Donald Trump in 2016 but is currently represented by a Democrat. This district flipped from narrowly backing former President Barack Obama by a margin of less than one percentage point in 2012 to voting for Trump also by one point,
