A 16-year-old has sold over $30,000 worth of sports trading cards since January after he switched from reselling sneakers. Here's why he says cards are more profitable.

The high school sophomore has sold more than $30,000 worth of merchandise since January, according to records on his StockX, eBay, and Paypal accounts, viewed by Business Insider.

But only recently have some people figured out how toSiddh Akolia has been reselling trading cards since January, when a friend first introduced him to industry. The 16-year-old had previously been reselling sneakers since 2017.
