Brickfields Asia College managing director Raja Singham dedicates the Asean Business Award to the ‘heroes’ in the fight against Covid-19.

The Asean Business Awards 2020 was held yesterday and this particular award seeks to honour businesses who have made crucial contributions to Covid-19 prevention measures. “This award goes to all the heroes who have helped us reach out to aid those in need during this pandemic. Among BAC’s initiatives during the pandemic are assisting numerous NGOs and community leaders in raising funds and dispensing aid to those in need through GiveBACk.my.It also worked with NGOs to provide employment opportunities for the special needs community, including allotting a space on its university premises for the operations of Tender Hearts Cafe, a social enterprise mainly run by persons with disabilities.
