KUALA LUMPUR: The government’s Prihatin Special Grant (GKP 2.0) has attracted more than 512,000 applications from micro small and medium enterprises, says Finance Minister Datuk Seri Tengku Zafrul Abdul Aziz.

This exceeded the 200,000 target set by the government, which also allocated RM600mil to GKP 2.0, he said.

To ensure that only eligible micro SMEs benefited from the one-off GKP 2.0 aid of RM3,000, Zafrul said every application is being cross-checked or verified with government data.
