Zafrul says there are ads online that ask contributors to invest their savings in schemes that seemed like scams.

Finance Minister Tengku Zafrul Abdul Aziz today urged Employees Provident Fund contributors to be wary of scam activities and always protect their personal information.

He said there were advertisements online, including on social media, that called for contributors to take out their savings to be invested in schemes that seemed like scams. This came after it was announced that applications for EPF Account 1 withdrawal would be opened from Dec 21...

Omg. This scammers are really disgusting. Before this all sort of scam appeared. Now trying to scam EPF contributors during this rough time. Be careful and deal with EPF officials ONLY.
