So Amazon was already paying more than $15 an hour, just the economic illiterates did not realize this and nudged Amazon to make things worst than before.

Bezos can’t afford to take care of his people while sitting on $160 billion of Amazon stock. AMZN has a PE ratio of 155 so he must know as well as you and I that it’s just a matter of time before the bubble bursts.
