Two hundred employees of Paranaque City’s Treasurer’s Office donated assorted goods to a “free market,” a version of the community pantry initiated by the local police in the city.

The treasurer’s office, headed by Dr. Anthony Pulmano led the donation at the police station headquarters along Dr. A. Santos Ave., in Barangay San Dionisio. The free market accommodates hundreds of individuals daily, mostly those who were mostly affected by the coronavirus disease pandemic. To also help the country’s farmers, the treasurer’s office employees bought directly the assorted vegetables through the Department of Agriculture, who delivered it to the site.
