Adam and Bec Mair took over the backpacker hostel Cambrai Lodge about a month ago even though international borders remain closed. It can accommodate 41 people and was sold to a group of local farmers who plan to use it to house seasonal workers from the Pacific Islands."Our role will be to ensure they are comfortable and that nothing in their living conditions gives them a cause for concern, enabling them to be happy in attending the work that they do," he said.
