At least 10 more Chinese companies will soon be added to the U.S. economic blacklist over alleged human-rights violations, according to a new report.

At least 10 more Chinese companies will soon be added to the U.S. economic blacklist over alleged human-rights violations, Reuters reported Thursday night.

President Joe Biden signed an executive order last month adding five more companies to the blacklist, which currently numbers 59 Chinese companies that are banned from receiving American investments, including telecom-equipment giant Huawei Technologies Co. The U.S. alleges the latest batch of companies abuse human rights and provide the Chinese government with high-tech surveillance in China’s largely Muslim province of Xinjiang, according to Reuters.
