Employees say working from home good for their mental health while employers say it boosts the bottom line

After months of working from home and wondering what a return to the office might look like, we finally have a clearer picture. And it looks like the hybrid work model is the winner.

Employers have shifted their mindset when it comes to remote work. Throughout the pandemic, many employees have reported being more productive at home. According to one recent study of 30,000 U.S. employers, working outside the office just one day a week was found to boost productivity by 4.8 per cent, Bloomberg reports.Article content

And if given the choice, 33 per cent of women and 32 per cent of men say they’d prefer to work from home part-time. Employees cited time saved commuting , money saved and a greater ability to focus as the top reasons why they want to say goodbye to office life, even for only a few days a week.
