Gucci parent company Kering implements a new fur-free mandate

While the move is unilateral for the Group, individual houses began making changes as early as 2017 when Gucci announced they would stop using fur under the direction of creative director Alessandro Michele. Other fashion houses followed when Balenciaga, Bottega Veneta, Alexander McQueen, Brioni and Saint Laurent progressively decided to follow suit.
