KUANTAN: Nearly all water treatment plants in the state have resumed full operations after the floods but several areas are still expected to experience low water pressure.

Pengurusan Air Pahang Berhad chief executive officer Saiful Zaini Mohd Bokhari said this was due to simultaneous high water usage to clean homes and premises affected by the floods.

"This is also due to landslides in some areas that have caused pipe alignments to be cut off or broken. "However, almost all water treatment plants are fully operational to supply water to consumers and it is still in the process of recovery.Saiful Zaini advised users to be prudent in their water usage in the meantime.
