Cleveland Mayor-elect Justin Bibb speaks at a news conference on Dec. 16, 2021 in Columbus organized by the Ohio Mayors Alliance.CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Cleveland Mayor-elect Justin Bibb has named Jessica Trivisonno senior strategist on the West Side Market, the mayor-elect’s transition team said in an email this week.
Trivisonno, who helped with Bibb’s campaign, was most recently economic development director for the Detroit Shoreway Community Development Organization. Along with bringing on Trivisonno, Bibb has also named Angela Shute-Woodson a senior advisor on community and government affairs. Shute-Woodson was most recently senior advisor on U.S. Rep. Shontel Brown’s congressional campaign, as well as community engagement consultant for the Mount Pleasant Neighborhood Corp.
Information on two more senior strategist roles, focused on racial equity and lead, will be posted Jan. 3, according to the email.
I am trying to understand what qualifications Ms. Trivisonno has, other than being on Mayor Bibb's campaign team, for this role. Does she have any experience in running a public market? This makes no sense to me, a citizen. Why is the media cheerleading Mr Bibb's selections?
