Donald Trump imposed the tariffs on solar imports in 2018,using authority under section 201 of a 1974 trade law. The levies started at 30% and declined to 15%. China expressed hope that the United States would take “concrete action” to facilitate free trade in new energy products and “contribute to the global development of a lowgreen house gas emission economy.”

USA must reduce tariffs & encourage other manufacturing countries to do the same. Clean energy is the new way to go in transport, domestic & industrial heating, cooling & energy usage. Africa will be creating their own clean energy sourcs soon. Reduce or loose USA.
