The Freedom Front Plus has added its voice to those who have welcomed the appointment of Justice Raymond Zondo as the county’s new Chief Justice.
The party says among the candidates interviewed by the JSC, Zondo was their preferred choice. The other candidates were Constitutional Court Justice Mbuyiseli Madlanga, Supreme Court of Appeal President Mandisa Maya and Gauteng Judge President Dunstan Mlambo.The Democratic Alliance says the appointment of Justice Raymond Zondo will bring continuity and stability at the apex court.
DA Shadow Minister on Justice and Correctional Service Glynnis Breytenbach says they are over the moon at Zondo’s appointment. “President Cyril Ramaphosa has chosen a safe pair of hands in appointing Deputy Chief Justice Raymond Zondo as the next Chief Justice.
