What a crappy situation to be in.

Earlier this month, Taiwan’s Apple Daily reported that 45-year-old ex-Mediacorp star’s Japanese restaurant in Taipei, PS Sake Bar, was caught up in a vey unappetising situation.

An Apple Daily reader had shared that a customer had human excrement thrown on her while she was dining at Jeff's restaurant. It turns out that the female customer in question was embroiled in a financial dispute with the assailant, who then tailed her to the restaurant. So there you have it. Though Jeff’s restaurant was not involved in the dispute in any way, they ended up being dragged into the whole mess, with the staff having no choice but to roll up their sleeves to clean everything up.

The reader also shared that the police were called, though it is unknown if the assailant was eventually arrested. When reached for a comment, Jeff replied through his manager, confirming that the incident did take place. “Thank you to the reader for their concern. This incident actually happened a month ago, and it’s been dealt with already. As per the media’s reports last month, the incident was due to the personal affairs of the customer, and we can’t offer more explanations on their behalf. To all customers, please rest assured, we’ve beefed up security measures, to protect everyone’s safety, please continue to show us your support,” Jeff said.
