The death toll from the floods that have ravaged KwaZulu-Natal has risen to 395.

The provincial Department of Co-operative Affairs has cautioned residents following a weather warning of inclement weather conditions from this Friday afternoon.of possible disruptive rains that could lead to localised flooding in some areas of KwaZulu-Natal.“The death toll has increased in the province and it currently stands at 395.

“The weather alert for disruptive rains is expected to hit various parts of the province from this afternoon. Areas of concern include those along the coastline and in the midlands. The alert also warns of damaging winds. There are concerns the return of rain could hamper the progress that has been made in clean-up operations.”
