Labour Minister Thulas Nxesi says companies are still not paying their workers minimum wage. This despite mandatory changes and increases over the past year. Nxesi was responding to a written Parliamentary question. Story here:

He reveals that approximately 36 percent of all workers are paid below the national minimum wage.Instead, it is R23.19 per hour payable for the numbers of ordinary hours worked.
