43-year-old Lee Sanchez hopes his human resource management degree will enable him to help “organisations make a positive difference for their employees.”

and has begun his new career with the NHS as a Medical HR Workforce Administrator.Read more:First-time student Lee has spent the last four years at UCLan, first as a foundation student and then as an undergraduate. During this time, he has juggled his studies with working as an out-of-hours administrator for Speed Medical Examination Services, homeschooling during lockdown and supporting his wife through illness.

Lee said: “Without studying this course, I wouldn’t be in a position to follow my dream of undertaking HRM within the NHS. I am both pleased and excited for the new challenges ahead.”
