For the second time in three years, Baldwin Wallace University has been named one of the top music business schools in the world by Billboard.

CLEVELAND, Ohio – was put together after analyzing information provided by the schools, industry recommendations and alumni credentials, among other criteria.

Baldwin Wallace first made the list in 2020. Due to the COVID pandemic and remote learning taking place at most schools, Billboard did not release a “Top Music Business Schools” list in 2021. For 2022, Billboard touted BW’s partnership with the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, the impressive resumes of its instructors and the school’s conservatory, which was invited to become an educational affiliate of the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles.

Among the other prestigious schools featured were the Abbey Road Institute in London, Berklee College of Music in Boston, Full Sail University in Florida and New York University. Baldwin Wallace was the only college in Ohio to make the list. “Our inclusion on this list reflects both the strength of BW and Cleveland’s larger music economy, which continues to support the success of our program by keeping us plugged into fast-changing and emerging trends,” said Dr. Sean Murphy, assistant professor of arts management and entrepreneurship at Baldwin Wallce, in a statement.
