Transitioning, LOL, as if that rubbish scam is ever going to work. I'm waiting for the list of excuses when this renewable energy stuff DOESN'T WORK. There'll never be enough of it, so we'll be transitioning forever. Transitioning IS THE EXCUSE for its failure.

The Oil Industry has a history of taking control of the environmental agenda in their areas of operations in order to control the roll out of rules & legislation that would impact their operations and reduce their profits. A strategy called “Be ahead of the legislation”

Perhaps energy and fossil fuels (80% of total energy) are a foundation for civilised life and someone needs to remind delegates of that in a forum in which its benefits are routinely overlooked? Or that gas provides huge scope for pragmatic decarbonisation by displacing coal?
