“Air connections play a critical role in recovery and growth. I am working actively with our Airport Authority, the Province, Tourism, and the local business community to have a co-ordinated strategy with Air Canada and all airlines to respond and ensure that we actually expand these vital connections, instead of lose them,” Clark said in a prepared statement.

Travellers looking to connect to Air Canada’s Star Alliance and code share partners for international travel through Toronto or Vancouver will have to spend more time and money, he added.
