The Davao City Tourism Operations Office says the city’s tourism industry needs to push for foreign as well as local tourists to visit the King City of the South after it was included among 18 of Asia’s “underrated” places reported by CNN Philippines. Lean Daval Jr.

Jennifer Romero, officer-in-charge of DCTOO, said this after Davao City was included among 18 of Asia’s “underrated” places reported by CNN Philippines. The CNN report cited Davao City’s Roxas Night Market, its indigenous roots, and the Kadayawan Festival, which showcases local textiles, woodwork, song, and dance from 11 tribes.
