KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 5 — With Chinese New Year around the corner, companies are having year-end banquets to treat their employees for their hard work over the past year.

Taking to Taiwan's online social media and networking platform Dcard, the employee complained that his company's banquet was sponsored by their customers,According to the employee, his company had held a hot pot dinner where all the materials were gifts from their customers. Citing her own experience, the user said to save on having the banquet, her company management proposed they go off for two months.Another user said as their employer is a vegetarian, they were served vegetarian meal during the banquet.reported that glutinous rice cooked with shrimp and crab served during year-end banquets is the most hated dish.
