No great loss they are greedy grubs

WhistlingWhist getting out before they get charged with fraud !

Over regulating will not stop fraud, would have been better to simply test and audit SOA random each year.

Info_Aus Bye! Perhaps they'll find real jobs.... like robbing stagecoaches at gunpoint, arms-dealing in the Middle-East or running a suicide cult. In other words, more honest labour?

The Financial Planning industry is based on a simple premise: 'A fool and his money are soon parted'

Prefer to lose my own money without paying a fee to do so

And good riddance to them.

Good riddance

wonder which part of the economy they will now locate in to find lurks

The sad thing is, it is most likely the good ones will go - because they can.

Good. Long overdue

bye Felicia

A sizeable number within the industry have been around since the late 80’s and we’re reaching retirement age. Not an insignificant reason for retiring (leaving the industry), don’t you think?

Given 2/3rds* give shit house advice so they can make a commission that will cost you more than sticking your cash in your home loan or super, probably not a bad thing.

sounds good, hopefully they find other jobs. somewerepaidfornothing
