It claimed that Pornsak did not mention his concerns when he resigned as director and chief executive of Mdada in October.

The statement refuted such suggestions as wholly untrue and baseless. It also touched on issues the company had faced in the delivery of goods sold on its platform, saying that delays and cancellations happened from time to time due to “extrinsic factors outside of Mdada’s control”. Pornsak, who remains a shareholder in the company, responded in an interview with entertainment portal 8world on Friday: “When I was interviewed, I had no intention of defaming the company at all.
