San Jose saw a 2.3% decrease in home values between January of this and last year, according to a recent Zillow report.

San Jose was one of three California cities that saw the biggest decreases in home values in the past year, according to a new report from Zillow.

San Jose has seen a sharp decline in home values since they peaked in May at an average of $1.5 million. In January, at the end of the comparison period, the average value for a home in San Jose was about $1.3 million.
