KUALA LUMPUR, March 10 — As Thailand taps into weed economy, a local company there has found a way to merge unique attractions with the growing cannabis culture.
Amongst the packages offered on their website is a guided marijuana tour across Old Bangkok — where tourists will get the chance to visit award-winning dispensaries while taking in majestic views of the Chao Phraya River. Another highlighted package on the site is the Green on All Levels e-Tour where tourists will be provided with an e-book that will guide them to five different experiences from well-known dispensaries around Bangkok.
Bookings for the Old Bangkok tour must be made via their Instagram page but the page is currently unavailable after a quick check byis available for purchase on their site for 1,890 baht .By June 2022, the Thai government moved to decriminalise the distribution, cultivation, consumption as well as marketing of all parts of the cannabis plant.
