I'm a TikToker who founded a startup to help influencers file their taxes. I invested $500,000 I earned from brand deals into my business and it paid off.

Posting on social media took my startup to the next level. When some of my videos went viral, like the one Khalifa reshared, creators on platforms like YouTube and OnlyFans started reaching out to me to ask for help with their taxes. Before, I struggled to land clients. After going viral, I usually had 100 requests a day.

Around that time, brands also started contacting me. Companies including ZipRecruiter, Wobbly, and Loom paid me to post TikTok videos, Instagram posts, and reels promoting their services. As more influencers came to us, I needed to invest more money in the startup to keep up with demand. We're not VC-backed, so I took a risk and invested the half a million dollars I earned from brand deals into the company.
