Caleb Jordan McCreless, 32, of Richmond, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit wire fraud in relation to the scheme. He admitted to lying to medical companies that he and Luke McGinnis, 39, who is awaiting trial for his role in the scheme, had access to a high-end medical-grade nitrile gloves with the brand name"Uniglove," according to a U.S. Attorney's news release.

McGinnis is awaiting trial on charges he served as a logistics operator, delaying or stalling deliveries when companies voiced concerns about their gloves not arriving, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office. By October 2020, McCreless had multiple buyers lined up and took their money as an initial deposit. Nearly all the buyers never received deliveries, except one, but that customer found that the quality of the gloves wasn't on par with Hongray as advertised by McCreless, documents show.
