The Boksburg Advertiser’s car boot sale at the Bokkie Park on May 6 was again a hive of activity.

Carolyn Kingston and Brenton Kingston own a farm in Mpumalanga and say events like this is where they can grow their business. They have been attending the Bokkie Park market for over a year.The car boot sale is held in conjunction with the Bokkie Park Food and Craft Market on the first Saturday of each month.Take note, from June the Advertiser will no longer administer or run the car boot sale.A vendor giving a taste of a product to a potential buyer.

“I found my love for craft markets during Covid-19 because everything was put on hold. After Covid, when the market and car boot sale reopened, I was very happy and I look forward to many more because it’s where I can make extra income,” she added. Numerous vendors took advantage of an opportunity to sell items that will make great Mother’s Day gifts.

Mugs, necklaces, bracelets, second-hand handbags, shoes, kitchen utensils and more were sold at stalls.Henna Swart, Celia de Koker and Marilese van Heerden sold the ideal Mother’s Day gifts.
