Anthony Joshua one of just two boxers to make Forbes' highest-paid athletes list

Anthony Joshua and Canelo Alvarez are the only boxers who feature on the Forbes highest paid athletes list for 2023.

This was Mexico's Canelo Alvarez, who they report earned $110million in the past year and so is ranked in the number five spot. $100million of Canelo's earnings are said to have come from his bouts, with $10million from sponsorships and endorsements.When the full Forbes top 50 was released, it showed that Joshua is further down the list in the number 28 spot.
