Cape Town has been recognised as the best city in Africa, according to the recently released Brand Finance City Index.

Nearly 15,000 individuals from 20 countries across the globe participated in the survey, providing their perceptions of the world’s top 100 cities based on each city’s overall reputation and personal experiences regarding living, local work, remote work, studying, retiring, visiting or investing.

To provide a comprehensive evaluation, preferences across these seven dimensions were analysed. The survey took into account 45 specific city brand attributes, grouped into seven pillars, including Business & Investment and Sustainability & Transport.
