: The Ministry of Economy has launched the People’s Facilities Initiative , with an allocation of RM500 million, to finance the implementation of small infrastructure projects in local areas, said its Minister Rafizi Ramli.

“Maintenance projects are getting fewer allocations lately because allocations are focused on debt repayments, big projects. So where do you cut first? Maintenance. “The implementation of the initiative also aims to help small contractors nationwide, who can complete the project between two and three months,” he said.
