JOHOR BARU, Aug 25 — A company director in this district lost RM6.2 million believed due to business email hacking last year.

He said the losses were experienced when the victim received an email from a supplier ordering payment to be made to a bank account. “The complainant was later informed that the supplier did not receive any payment and did not send any email ordering a change in the account number,” he said in a statement today.
