You know it's going to be awesome once you're at Beaver Stadium Saturday night. But what about that trip there? PennDOT says roads should be pretty free and clear for 2023. Joe Hermitt | jhermitt@pennlive.comThe traffic forecast for those making the pilgrimage to Happy Valley this weekend for Penn State football’s opening game is green for go.But major projects, like the complete rebuild of 322 on its approach to Potters Grove, are now completed.

The detour using Route 3002 , Route 35, and Route 333 before returning to Route 75 adds some time but is working smoothly enough, Nebgen said.On that day, because of a 3:30 p.m. Penn State game and an earlier-than-usual race start at the Port Royal Speedway, Nebgen said the Penn State fans may want to start out a little earlier than they normally would to avoid what could be significant congestion.
