There’s usually nothing wrong if one arrives a few minutes later than the agreed time but if you booked a flight or a bus ride to travel somewhere then it’s always best to arrive early or on time to avoid being left behind.

Still, one would think they’d have a chance to board the transport if it hadn’t left the premise yet but unfortunately for this passenger, he was not allowed to board a bus despite being only one minute late. Here’s what happened:Earlier this week, a netizen posted a video of what he witnessed at the Kuala Terengganu Bus Terminal recently. In the video posted above, a man can be seen chasing after the Mara Liner bus; calling out to the driver and tapping on the door to let him in.

Unfortunately, the bus driver ignored the passenger’s call and drove off, leaving the poor man, who had chased after the bus to the main road, behind. The video has since gone viral and circulated all over social media with netizens condemning the bus driver for not being considerate enough to let the passenger in as the bus hadn’t even exited the terminal. Many also shared similar experiences they had with the bus company.

“We’ve reached out to the passenger to express our sincerest apology and regret. Internal investigations have been carried out after receiving complaints and appropriate actions have been taken against the bus driver on duty.” However, shortly after the statement was posted, netizens revealed they were still not pleased as they felt that an apology was not enough. Many commented that they’ll never use the company’s services again. Mara Liner actively replied to those comments, clarifying that they will compensate the passenger who was left behind and will try to improve its services.
