The MAAC Foundation has been awarded $9,000 in grant funds for its Mental Health Initiative from the Healthcare Foundation of La Porte, according to a release. The program is designed to support LaPorte County first responders with access to mental health training, such as Critical Incident Stress Management , which will be offered Nov. 8-10 at the MAAC First Responder Training Campus, the release said.
